Even though the show was supposed to start at 7, it didn't actually get underway until 9:00. By the time John Legend took to the stage, quite a few were restless and intoxicated. They brought in a local comedian to fill the gap, followed by a DJ playing for another hour or so, allowing the audience to become restless and completely drunk. What should have been a hilarious show turned into a chaotic scene with drunken heckles and random shoutouts from the intoxicated crowd, including one fool fixated on John Legend's arms. Security never intervened to remove the hecklers, and it appeared that John Legend either lacked control or didn't care that the show had spiraled out of control. In the end, large groups of people began to leave, prompting John Legend to opt to hang out at a blues club and abruptly end the show. While there were a few comedic moments, they were overshadowed by the disrespectful and disruptive hecklers who dominated the event.
